Grant Funding Application

Thank you for your interest in applying for financial assistance through the New England Martial Arts Foundation (NEMAF). Our mission is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to experience the benefits of martial arts, regardless of financial circumstances. Requesting financial assistance is easy - these are the steps that must be followed:

  1. The student applies for a grant through the NEMAF form

  2. The Dojo (or Sensei / event host / vendor) provides an invoice addressed to the New England Martial Arts Foundation

  3. NEMAF reviews the grant

  4. If the grant is approved, NEMAF pays the Dojo directly (referencing both the invoice number and the student’s name)

  5. NEMAF and the Dojo keeps a record of the invoice and payment on file with the student’s grant application (to provide clear evidence that the funds were used exactly for their intended, charitable purpose)

Please complete all sections of the form below and include any supporting documentation. Incomplete applications may result in processing delays.

After submitting the grant application, the board of New England Martial Arts Foundation will review the form and talk to your instructor. If they have any questions, they will be in contact with you.
